Events

Events are one of the ways we can both raise money and show our appreciation for those who care for animals at the same, good time. And we humbly think we have some of the most unique and creative good times around.

Petcasso

Petcasso is the signature fundraising event for Animal Trustees of Austin. This annual event is a fun, creative evening of live music, a fabulous dinner, and a silent auction filled with luxurious items and features a live art auction of paintings created by Austin animals. The four-legged artists strut their stuff on the runway while the auctioneer conducts the bidding. All proceeds support the programs and services of the Animal Trustees of Austin clinics.

Fonda San Miguel Fiesta Benefit

Every year the Animal Trustees of Austin hosts a delicious dinner at one of Austin’s most beautiful restaurants, Fonda San Miguel. The executive chef creates a magical evening featuring a gorgeous buffet and everyone leaves this dinner with a full belly and a full heart knowing they have spent their evening helping animals in need. 2012 Virtual Pet Walk

Each year Animal Trustees tries to find a unique way to kick off our annual fundraising drive. For 20112, we’re bringing back our virtual pet walk. The virtual walk will give you the chance to join a pack of your friends or colleagues and raise much needed money for ATA. Although participation in the walk does not require you to leave the comfort of your home or office, we will end the walk with a fun cocktail reception on September 18th.

Lifelines Exhibit

The mission of the Lifelines project is to depict the bond between people and their pets, and document a relationship that has existed for thousands of years across all walks of life. These series of images captured by photographer, Norah Levine, are intended to honor a unique lifestyle: The lifestyle of Austin’s homeless; the travelers that have found refuge in this tolerant city; and those suddenly without housing due to economic circumstances—all pet owners whose commonality is a commitment to giving their animal the love and care it deserves no matter what the cost.

Profits from the Lifelines project will benefit the Animal Trustees of Austin’s 4PAWS Program (For People and Animals without Shelter).

Thursday, September 6th, 6:30 to 9:00 p.m., 1500 W. 6th St.
