Jessie Rose, lovingly called J-Ro, is a 10-year-old Pomeranian and acting PR director of Animal Trustees of Austin. She is ATA’s official greeter and mascot. J-Ro was rescued from a puppy mill where she and 52 other dogs were found in cages without food or water. True to her enduring spirit, Jessie Rose pranced her way across the canvas to create “Night Walk,” a masterpiece of brilliant colors set against a black background. While she enjoyed her moment as an artist, her real passion is going everywhere with her guardian, of course, meeting and greeting. Cookies are her favorite food.
