Lady 'C' and Sheryl Crow have been together for two years and in that time have formed a very strong bond. Lady 'C' is not only Sheryl's personal saddle horse but may also one day serve as Sheryl's equine ambassador to children to motivate them to learn. Lady 'C' is a 5-year-old Tennessee Walking horse—one of the world's greatest show, trail and pleasure horses because of their calm, docile temperament and naturally smooth and easy gait. According to her trainer, Sue De Laurentis, Lady 'C' is special because she loves people and loves to please. She has a very agreeable and sweet personality and offers willing cooperation without losing her proud character. In creating her masterpiece, Lady 'C' mixed paint with sand to give the work an earthy texture. When not painting, Lady 'C' loves learning new tricks and playing with her other equine friends at Sheryl's farm.
