To prepare for painting their masterpiece, Holly, a 5-year-old Cavalier King Charles Spaniel and Winky, a 3-year-old Lhasa Apso had a big breakfast and a mid-morning snack. Holly was a rock star when it came to painting because treats and snacks were involved. She will do anything for food including getting completely covered in paint. On the other hand, Winky preferred to have Holly do all the work. Holly’s favorite thing is eating breakfast, lunch and dinner...followed closely by trying to talk anyone into giving her food. Winky sticks close to Holly when she’s in the kitchen because he knows if she manages to get food so will he. When not eating, Winky likes to nap and play with his toys. Holly enjoys going on walks and meeting and greeting new people (she has never met a stranger). Melissa says, “They bring more joy, love and humor into our lives then we could possibly ever give back to them”. Their buddy and neighbor, a chocolate lab named Lucy inspired the name of their painting.
