What a Deaf Dog Sees

Three is a charm.... this painting was created by two-year-old Blue Heeler, Sophie, and her two Jack Russell buddies eight-year old Chloe and 11-year-old Jack. The name of this painting was inspired by the fact that both Sophie and Chloe are deaf. They were rescued when they were puppies. Sophie was tied up to a neighbor’s car with a broken leg, Jack was rescued at the Bastrop Wal-mart, and Chloe was dumped by a breeder because she was deaf. Their painting was created with the aid of some treats and toys. When not painting, Sophie would rather play fetch, Jack wants to go to his grandparent’s house in Rockport and go for a boat ride, and Chloe just wants to sleep. Stephanie says these pups are her daily companions who give unconditional love and remind her to laugh everyday at what fun it is to watch two deaf dogs bark at each other.
