Following in the footsteps of the very talented painter and artist, Zita Raymond, are her pups Hobbs and Stella, assisted by their dog friend Montana. Hobbs is a five-year-old Rottweiler mix who spends his days running, chasing squirrels, and sleeping on the couch. Hobbs’ previous owner was institutionalized, leaving him neglected and alone for months. When Zita discovered him, she adopted him on the spot, and now he is her loving forever friend. Zita says Hobbs is special because he loves fully and unconditionally. The very Zen-like Stella is a six-year-old lab mix who loves swimming and running around Town Lake and sleeping in her guardian’s bed. Five years ago, Zita found her while running. Stella had been abandoned, yet she was still so happy. Zita took her home and they have been a happy family ever since. Montana is best described as feisty, fast, funny, and friendly. She loves people and life — but life didn’t start out so well for Montana — she was found starving by the side of the road. Luckily she was brought to Town Lake Animal Center where Bill adopted her. To prepare for their painting experience, both Stella and Hobbs had a good night’s sleep, while Montana cleared her head by taking a ride in her dad’s open air Bronco.
