Spay/Neuter Clinic

ATA's Spay & Neuter Clinic is located at 5129 Cameron Rd, one block north of the 51st St. overpass, on the east side of IH35. Spay and neuter surgeries are performed by appointment. Patients are admitted from 7:30 AM to 8:30 AM on the day of their scheduled appointment. Generally, patients are discharged between 3:00 PM and 6:00 PM on the same day as surgery. Please read our Pre-Operative Procedures before your appointment, and the Post-Operative Procedures after your appointment.

We are currently making appointments for dog and cat spays (female) approximately six weeks out. If your pet must have an appointment sooner than that, please try EmanciPet's low-cost Spay/Neuter clinic at 512-587-7729.

In the event of inclement weather, ATA will use the Austin Independent School District (AISD) as a guide (if AISD closes or opens late, ATA will do the same). Check your local radio or television station for information.

FEE SCHEDULE

• Additional $10 for dogs 50 lbs. and over
• If male animal is cryptorchid (undescended testicle), add $10-$20 for each testicle
• There may be an additional $10 charge for obsese animals
• Nail trim or anal gland expression under anesthesia - $5.00
